Who do I see?

Routine appointments

Appointments may be made by telephoning:

01727 822138 (Colney Medical Centre) or

01923 671746 (Bricket Wood Medical Centre) or

01442 234220 (Coleridge House Medical Centre)

The practice primarily operates a same day appointment system, whereby patients requesting to see a GP are offered a telephone appointment or a face to face with the duty GP if appropriate. We request you to ring as early in the day as possible and you will then be advised of when to expect a GP call back or be invited into the Surgery. All appointment requests are triaged and you will be booked in with the most appropriate healthcare professional. We do keep some appointments available that can be booked in advance.

Consultations are for 10 minutes. Please discuss your most important problem first.

We always do our best to keep things running right on schedule! However, because medical care can be unpredictable, our doctors and nurses sometimes run a little late to give every patient the care they need. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding when this happens.

To help us stay on time for everyone, we kindly ask that you arrive on time for your visit. If you’re running late, please let our reception team know right away—if schedule permits, we’ll do our best to squeeze you in, but we may occasionally need to help you reschedule for another day.

Please be advised we may ask patients who are registered at our Bricket Wood branch to receive care at our main branch Colney Medical Centre.
